There are so many books about this subject matter. Also if one do a search in Youtube on "2012", there are endless presentations on this subject.
That is the date of end of quarantine for galactic agreement, where other civilizations in the Universes are free to come and leave earth. In tune to the better world, they are all well receive in this world. I can only speak for myself.
Base on the theory of parallel dimension or multi-dimension beyond our comprehension- we are free to manifest to choose the reality that we want to live in. It is all for the better. In certain reality, there will be disaster in this world of ours leading to extinction of human race. Having say that, there will be many transition- the nature part of it.
Another aspect is that we have so many masters already here on this earth to help us and let us understand who are we and what is the transition and possibilities of reality that we can choose to live in with highest joy.
With that we should choose to practice spirituality in a connection to the divide through meditation. Learn to be a true human being with love and peace. Be a vegetarian and do selfless service- give and help as much as we can with joy.
